School Holiday Sewing Classes In Sydney
Has your teen shown an interest in learning how to sew? We’ve developed this school holiday sewing workshop to be flexible, book them in for a single day or book multiple sessions across the holidays! Each day features a new sewing project, so your teen can choose the one that excites them most (or come to a few and build their skills across different techniques).

- Mon 12 Jan: Sewing a Cushion Cover & Scrunchies
- Tue 13 Jan: Fabric Painting & Sewing a Tote Bag
- Wed 14 Jan: Sewing Shorts or Pants
- Thu 15 Jan: Sewing a Zippered Pouch
Each session runs from 9:30am–3:30pm, giving teens a full day of creative fun. They’ll learn how to use a sewing machine, follow simple patterns, and complete their own handmade pieces with guidance from our friendly instructor.
Every class is hands-on, beginner-friendly, and taught in a supportive environment. Students will take home their finished project — and the confidence to keep creating beyond the classroom.

What you'll learn
- How to set up and thread a sewing machine
- How to sew straight lines and basic seams
- How to follow simple sewing patterns
- Plus, extra techniques specific to the project you’ve booked – like hemming, inserting elastic, or adding zippers
- Everything is included in our school holiday sewing classes.
- Sewing machines, threads, and tools provided.
- A quick reference card to keep by your machine at home.
- Printed sewing patterns for each project to take home.

- This school holiday sewing classes are open to everyone aged 13+
- The teens don’t need any prior sewing experience.

- Our school holiday sewing classes run from 9:30am – 3:30pm.
- The teacher leading the session has a valid working with children’s check.
- You’re welcome to drop your teen off from 9:15am, and pickup between 3:15pm – 3:30pm.
- Closed-toe shoes are recommended for safety.
- Long hair must be tied back for safety.
- BYO lunch, water bottle and snacks for morning/afternoon tea.
- Our shop is on a busy road, there’s street parking outside for 1 hour for drop-offs and pick-ups. Click here for the Google maps pin.
- Parent/guardian need to bring their teens inside, and inform the instructor if someone different will be picking them up.
- Parent/guardian need to come inside for pickup, we will not allow the teens to leave our studio alone.
- Our studio unfortunately isn’t wheelchair accessible. We’re sorry for the inconvenience
Due to high demand and limited class sizes, all bookings are final and non-refundable. We’re happy to reschedule your booking as long as it meets the conditions below:
- Rescheduling with more than 7 days’ notice: free of charge
- Rescheduling with less than 7 days’ notice: $20 per person rescheduling fee
- Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice: no reschedule or refund available
