Looking for a different kind of date night? Or just a fun hands-on activity to do with your favourite person? Our date night soap making class has been designed for pairs! You’ll create a beautiful batch of handmade soap – together.
You’ll begin by choosing your fragrance blend together. Then, you’ll each work on a soap batter and add your chosen clay which colours the soap. After mixing your batter, you’ll both pour your soap mixtures into the shared mould at the same time, marbling your colours together.
The mould used in class will make 8 large soap bars, or 16 mini bars.
This date night soap making class is perfect for couples, besties, siblings, or anyone who loves doing something creative together.
Please note: your soap will need to set in its mould for 12-24 hours. You can take it home on the day by purchasing the mould during checkout, or leave it with us to cut for you.

What you'll learn
- How to work safely with Lye (Sodium Hydroxide)
- How to blend plant-based oils and butters into a balanced soap recipe
- How to customise your soap with clays to suit your skin type
- Blend two fragrance oils together to create your own custom scent
- How and when to cut your soap
- All ingredients, including oils, butters, lye, fragrance oils, natural colourants, and botanicals are included in our date night soap making class
- A wide selection of fragrance oils to choose from
- Protective equipment (goggles, gloves, aprons)
- A worksheet to take notes and record your soap recipe.
- Apron to wear during the class
- Fun, supportive vibe and guidance throughout

- Our date night soap making class is open to everyone aged 18+
- No previous experience required
- Couples, besties, siblings, or anyone who loves doing something creative together.
- Everyone is welcome in our inclusive space.
- On the day of the class, we will be using sodium hydroxide, an essential ingredient to make soap. For your safety, you must wear long sleeves, long pants, closed-toe shoes, and long hair tied back. If you arrive without meeting these requirements, unfortunately we won’t be able to allow you to participate.
- Your soap will need to set in its mould for 12-24 hours. You can take it home on the day by purchasing the mould during checkout, or leave it with us to cut for you and collect another day.
- Please bring one tea towel to the class. Your soap needs to be wrapped to stay warm. Tea towel size is ideal, other towels are too large.
- To ensure the best results and a seamless class experience, we provide all the ingredients you’ll need in this soap making class. For safety and consistency, we ask that participants do not bring their own ingredients to this class.
- This class runs for 2 hours, if you’re driving, avoid 1P or 2P zones as we won’t be able to pause the class for you to move your car. Not sure where to park? Click here for our parking tips

Due to high demand and limited class sizes, all bookings are final and non-refundable. We’re happy to reschedule your booking as long as it meets the conditions below:
- Rescheduling with more than 7 days’ notice: free of charge
- Rescheduling with less than 7 days’ notice: $20 per person rescheduling fee
- Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice: no reschedule or refund available
