Looking for a birthday celebration that’s stylish, hands-on, and a little out of the ordinary? Our beginner-friendly silversmithing workshop is the perfect way to mark the occasion. Each guest will design and make their own pair of sterling silver earrings from scratch, guided by one of our experienced instructors.
You’ll learn to saw, shape, file, and finish your earrings using real jeweller’s tools, ideal for anyone wanting to try something different and walk away with something beautiful.
Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or just looking for something creative to do with friends, this workshop is a birthday experience that truly shines.

- Due to the nature of this class, and for health and safety reasons, this class is not suitable for those under 18 years old (including babies).
- We welcome all genders and identities in our inclusive space, and we’ll make sure everyone feels comfortable, supported, and part of the celebration.

- For safety reasons, all guests must arrive sober to this activity. If anyone is visibly intoxicated, we won’t be able to let them participate. BYO alcoholic drinks are welcome, but can only be consumed after the cutting and drilling stage is complete (usually around the 1-hour mark).
- Closed-toe shoes are required for this class. You’ll be working with tools and equipment, so appropriate footwear is essential.
- BYO is welcome! We provide glassware (wine glasses or flutes), and you’re welcome to bring your own drinks.
- Doors open 10 minutes before your session. If you would like earlier access than this, it can be arranged for an additional fee.
- Children under 18 (including babies) can’t attend, as this class is not suitable for younger guests due to the materials and equipment used.
- There is no natural break in this class to play hens party games, we find the full 2 hours is required for making the earrings.
- All guests attending with your group must be booked as paying participants. We’re unable to allow spectators or non-participating guests in the studio.

Cancellations
Due to the high demand for our classes and venue, all bookings are final and strictly non-refundable.
Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change, and we’ll do our best to accommodate rescheduling requests, subject to the policy below:
- More than 14 days’ notice – no additional charges
- Less than 14 days’ notice – Rescheduling fee of 20% of booking value.
- Less than 7 days’ notice – booking will be forfeited unless we’re able to fill your time slot
Venue Hire
The door to your class will open 10 minutes before the start time. The venue won’t be accessible earlier than this.
Bookings run for 2 hours, and as we often have other sessions to prepare for, we kindly ask that the space is vacated no later than 5 minutes after your session ends.

To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required. The deposit amount depends on your group size and will be confirmed during the booking process.
Final Numbers & Payment Timeline
• Final numbers must be confirmed 15 days before your event.
• The remaining balance is due 14 days before the event date.
An invoice will be prepared for the final balance, and the deposit amount is deducted from this.

My friends and I went for the textured painting class celebrating my birthday, we had such an amazing time! It was the first time we all tried this class and it was so worth it! Dani was our teacher, she did amazing and was very helpful and patient with us! The place is easy to get to, 4 mins walk from Redfern station. All painting materials were provided, plus tea & coffe and some snacks. You can bring your own drinks also. Fun experience, i would definitely do it again!
