Join us for an immersive two-hour painting session where you’ll learn to create a textured palm tree artwork. Using different techniques, we’ll guide you step-by-step to sculpt a palm tree design that adds a touch of coastal elegance to any space.
Our Textured Palm Tree Painting Class is a guided, beginner-friendly workshop where you’ll learn how to create your own stunning palm tree scene – no painting experience needed.
It’s relaxed, it’s fun, and it’s fully BYO, so grab your drink of choice and come spend a few peaceful, creative hours with us. 🌴
Project: 40 x 50cm Artwork on a Canvas
What you'll learn
- How to section off areas of the canvas
- Learn about the texture medium we use
- Learn how to use a palette knife to create certain textures
- Practice the techniques first, before applying them to the canvas
- Learn the steps to create a beautiful palm tree painting
- 40cm x 50cm stretched canvas to take home

- This class is open to everyone aged 18+
- No previous experience required
- Ideal for individuals, couples, and groups.
- A lot of people come solo, so if you’re thinking about booking on your own, chances are you won’t be the only one. Our teachers are warm, friendly, and always make sure solo guests feel welcome and supported.
- Everyone is welcome in our inclusive space.
- Acrylic paints stain fabric, so we recommend wearing something you don’t mind getting messy. Aprons are provided, but it’s always better to be safe!
- Your textured painting will take 1–3 days to fully dry, depending on the thickness of the texture.
- You’re welcome to leave your artwork at the studio to dry and collect it another day (just let us know on the day).
- If you prefer to take it home straight after class, please handle it with care – and if you’re driving, we recommend bringing paper or plastic bags to put under the painting in the car.
- This class runs for 2 hours, if you’re driving, avoid 1P or 2P zones as we won’t be able to pause the class for you to move your car. Not sure where to park? Click here for our parking tips

Due to high demand and limited class sizes, all bookings are final and non-refundable. We’re happy to reschedule your booking as long as it meets the conditions below:
- Rescheduling with more than 7 days’ notice: free of charge
- Rescheduling with less than 7 days’ notice: $20 per person rescheduling fee
- Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice: no reschedule or refund available

My friends and I went for the textured painting class celebrating my birthday, we had such an amazing time! It was the first time we all tried this class and it was so worth it! Dani was our teacher, she did amazing and was very helpful and patient with us! The place is easy to get to, 4 mins walk from Redfern station. All painting materials were provided, plus tea & coffe and some snacks. You can bring your own drinks also. Fun experience, i would definitely do it again!
