Hello, welcome to our website!
We'd love to share the Sydney Creative story with you.
Sydney Creative was launched in 2017 by Textile Designer Sophie Parry.
Upon graduating as a Textile Designer over a decade ago, Sophie travelled to various countries before settling in Sydney.
By 2017, Sophie was a resident artist in 107 Projects, a repurposed car garage based in Redfern. 107 is now a multipurpose creative hub supporting local artists and the community, there are often events, installations, live music and shows held in the building. All Sydney Creative workshops are held here in Sophie's studio, nestled in the back of 107 amongst other artists, glass blowers, architects and printers.
Having a small creative space to run workshops from ensures each class is personal and relaxed. We offer an array of classes from beginners sewing to dressmaking and even private 1:1 sessions for those wanting to work on something unique to them.
Whether you're a person who's never picked up a sewing needle or someone who regularly crafts but want's to be a part of a more social environment, here at Sydney Creative we have various creative classes covering all abilities and we're sure you'll find a class that's perfect for you.
Our location is perfect, just a short five minute walk from Redfern Station, or you'll find plenty of parking spots around if you're planning to drive.
