Looking to create art that you’ll actually want to hang in your home? Our Textured Beach Painting Class was created for you!
In this guided session, you’ll learn how to use texture techniques to sculpt serene beach-inspired textures, resulting in a piece that you might actually hang in your home. Whether you’re aiming for neutral tones or soft coastal hues, this class offers the perfect blend of relaxation and design.
Bring your favourite drink (our studio is fully BYO) and enjoy a few hours of mindful creativity. All materials are provided, just come as you are and leave with a beautiful artwork.

What you'll learn
- Painting the background
- Learn about the texture medium we use

- How to apply the texture medium to create waves

- This class is open to everyone aged 18+
- No previous experience required
- Ideal for individuals, couples, and groups.
- A lot of people come solo, so if you’re thinking about booking on your own, chances are you won’t be the only one. Our teachers are warm, friendly, and always make sure solo guests feel welcome and supported.
- We welcome all genders and identities in our inclusive space.
- Acrylic paints stain fabric, so we recommend wearing something you don’t mind getting messy. Aprons are provided, but it’s always better to be safe!
- Your textured painting will take 1–3 days to fully dry, depending on the thickness of the texture.
- You’re welcome to leave your artwork at the studio to dry and collect it another day (just let us know on the day).
- If you prefer to take it home straight after class, please handle it with care – and if you’re driving, we recommend bringing paper or plastic bags to put under the painting in the car.
- This class runs for 2 hours, if you’re driving, avoid 1P or 2P zones as we won’t be able to pause the class for you to move your car. Not sure where to park? Click here for our parking tips

Due to high demand and limited class sizes, all bookings are final and non-refundable. We’re happy to reschedule your booking as long as it meets the conditions below:
- Rescheduling with more than 7 days’ notice: free of charge
- Rescheduling with less than 7 days’ notice: $20 per person rescheduling fee
- Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice: no reschedule or refund available

My friends and I went for the textured painting class celebrating my birthday, we had such an amazing time! It was the first time we all tried this class and it was so worth it! Dani was our teacher, she did amazing and was very helpful and patient with us! The place is easy to get to, 4 mins walk from Redfern station. All painting materials were provided, plus tea & coffe and some snacks. You can bring your own drinks also. Fun experience, i would definitely do it again!
